My New Boy! - Photographer Scranton Pa

I've been a bad blogger lately. Mainly due to a combination of working, and Thomas.

Thomas?

Yes! Number three child arrived safely and happily at 5:09am on September 19, 2011. He was a modest 8.1lbs and 20 inches long.

We had been anxiously waiting for our new friend to arrive, and 9 months worth of waiting can be harder than one thinks. But now that our boy is here, I am overwhelmed, as I was with our other two, wondering what awaits us.

He looks up at me with his big dark eyes, with that penetrating stare, issuing a challenge.

Hope I don't let him down. Never having known my father, I understand what I have to do for him and my other kiddies.

I'm up for it.

I met someone at Starbucks yesterday, gave them my card, and they said to me "Do you shoot weddings too?"

"Why, yes I do!"

"Do you have a portfolio?"

"Yep. Right there on the website."

"I'll call you tomorrow and we'll talk some more."

Well they did call, and now I am booked for their wedding next year.

The moral of the story? It's not hard to book me for your wedding, and it's not too early to book for 2012.

Duane + Jessie Engagement Pics - Scranton Wedding Photography

I met Duane and Jessie after I shot some engagement photos for my friends Matt and Cassie. The two of them booking me to do their wedding was a direct result of those photos. So thanks to Matt and Cassie! Lol!

They absolutely delight in each others presence. Unabashedly.

They are an awesome couple, super cool to be around, and I can't wait to shoot their wedding this weekend!

I told you things were happening!

New logo!

I'm pretty excited right now! There's LOTS going on here, and there's plenty more that I'll be sharing in the days and weeks coming up.

The first thing I wanted to tell you about is that I just concluded a logo design contest over at www.48hourslogo.com . In 4 days I received 80 different logo designs from 10 different designers. 48 hours logo is a great way to have a logo designed by professional designers, and I highly recommend it if you are in the market.

Cassie + Matt Engagement Photos!

Cassie and Matt are a great couple that are getting married July 2011. We had a sweet time tooling around Scranton last weekend taking some nice shots for their engagement! Congrats, guys!

Was privileged to shoot an awesome wedding last Saturday when Melissa and Duane were married. Got to know the bride's great family a bit as well, and now, I will be taking the bride's brother's senior photos! Good connections and good times....
